2005 JR aerotow in Monticello, Il, June 2 to June 5

Unfortunately, this year I could make it there only on Friday, June 3, which turned out to be a day with a mostly solid overcast, but very little or no wind.

Not the very best day for thermal soaring, but a very good day for the maiden flight of my 1:3 Grunau Baby.

I will be back in Monticello next year for sure !
