Fuselage r/c gear installation

In the fuse, three servos are required : Elevator, rudder and tow-release.

The tow-release servo is a Multiplex Cockpit BB servo, elevator and rudder are driven by Hitec HS-525 BB's.

The tow-release servo got placed as far forward as possible, below the receiver battery pack.

This way, the connection to the tow release itself is very short.

The receiver, and the elevator and rudder servos are placed just forward of the wheel well, on the bottom of the cockpit.

I placed them in such a way, that the servos will be hidden under the cockpit floor below the aft instrument panel, and the receiver will be under the front pilot seat.

Both the elevator and rudder are driven from bellcranks, the rudder is connected to its bellcrank by a pull-pull setup, and the elevator by a bowden type push-pull rod.

Initially, I wanted to use a pull-pull setup for the elevator as well, but it turned out to be too much of a hassle.

The servos connect to the bellcranks by means of a short metal pushrod.

The receiver battery pack is installed in a battery box in the nose, and will be hidden by the front instrument panel.
